MINECRAFT
(with Mods)
The Mods Server will remain on Version 1.16.5 until further notice, and requires the Minecraft Forge client to run. Please click the "More Info" button above to navigate to the Forge website.
This server, due to mods, does not support connection from Bedrock editions of the game. You will need to download the Minecraft Launcher and already own a copy of the Java version of the game. Click the 'More Info' button above to download Minecraft Forge, or click the button below to get the original copy of the Minecraft Java (Vanilla/No-Mods).
In addition, because of the use of mods, it is possible that this server will be updated if newer, more functional mods are found to work with more recent versions of Minecraft.
Please note the list below. In addition to the latest Java software and the Minecraft Forge client, you'll need to also download and install the list of mods below (same as the server version). If you are missing a mod from this list, the server will reject your connection.
Be advised that mods also have different versions, and if you download the wrong version, it will not work when you attempt to connect to the server. The mods that you download must say Version 1.16.5
Remember that you already need to have the Java version of Minecraft, which uses the Minecraft Launcher that can be found in the Microsoft Store.
Please note that the pictures below may reflect older images from before this guide was updated to more recent versions.
After you've already installed the regular Java version of Minecraft, head on over to the Minecraft Forge site, where you can select a Forge version. Be sure to match the version on the current Mod Server.
Navigate to your Downloads folder and double-click the file to run the installer.
Select "install client". It will automatically proceed with the installation and complete on its own. You will need to have at least logged into your regular Minecraft Launcher app at least once if you want to avoid any issues. Make sure to close the Launcher clicking "OK" for the Forge installer.
Ignore the message about the lack of a directory if this is your first time. In order to create the directory, you just have to open your regular Minecraft Launcher app and sign in at least once.
Minecraft Forge is now Installed!
Now when you boot up your Minecraft Launcher app, it should now have an option to select the "forge" option instead of the "Latest release" option (on the Bottom Left corner of the Launcher app).
For Windows users, click Start or Search, and then open the Run app/program. Type %appdata% to navigate to your local account's AppData directory.
Right-Click on a blank area within the AppData window, and select New. Then click the option to create a new Folder. Name this folder mods, all lowercase. it is recommended that you Right-Click the newly created 'mods' folder to create a new shortcut, then move (Drag and Drop) that shortcut to the Desktop.
Now that you have followed the above instructions and created the 'mods' folder, you can now download mods from the Internet and move them into said destination. (Download, then drag-drop them into the mods folder location).
Because you might access this folder frequently if you are downloading and experimenting with a lot of mods, you should create a shortcut for the mods folder and place it on the desktop. This way, you can easily double-click the shortcut to access the mods folder directly.
Check out the supported mods for the server below; make sure you download them all, as the server will not let you connect if you are missing even one of these. If you suddenly find that the Server is telling you that you are missing a mod or you can't connect, check back on this page to see if we added a mod to the list.
All of the mods are for the current SourceForge version 1.16.5, or should be rated to work for 1.16.5.
