What do I need to be able to play?

Thanks to this being a retooled 2015 version of the very old Halo 3 engine from 2007, you just need a low-end gaming PC. As a matter of fact, I think you could probably get away with running this on Intel HD graphics... but a dedicated low-end GPU should be okay.

The only thing you really need is to either:

A. Click the More Info button for the instructions on how to set up the game, obtain a copy of the game somewhere in the forsaken corners of the Internet (since they don't provide it there), and then join the server that I provided.

or...

B. Find the copy of the game on this page, extract/decompress it, and then follow the instructions inside.


Note: Microsoft officially declared this game cancelled, as it was meant to be a limited-time run in Russia. I guess it was their way of testing the demand... but in Russia... which makes no sense. But anyway, legally, the original team that built this community mod is no longer allowed to share the files, which is why Option A will be difficult for you. Technically, I can share a copy with a friend to preserve the mod, I guess? (It's not like I'm handing it to you on a silver platter...)

But in all seriousness, you should probably support the real thing, which is the official Master Chief Collection on the Windows 10 or Steam store fronts.
